Signs of Body Dehydration

We've all had chaotic days of crushing goals and suddenly realize we haven't touched a single drop of water since breakfast. By the time that mid-afternoon slump hits, your body is usually throwing out some pretty loud signs of body hydration.

It may start with a dry mouth. You might feel a random, nagging headache or a sudden drop in your energy levels that makes it impossible to focus on the simplest tasks.

Another piece of evidence on your internal water intake is to look closely at your skin texture. Your body's largest organ will send distress signals by losing its natural bounce and glowing defense mechanism.

Instead of a smooth and uniform radiance, dehydrated skin looks tired and develops a distinct dullness. On darker skin tones, this lack of cellular moisture casts an ashy grayish shadow on dry surface cells.

It's a wake up call that your skin barrier, brain and body are thirsty. So, before your third iced coffee, take a second and listen to what your body is actually telling you.
